In Canada, Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday in October. The date is different from American's.

So Thanksgiving was on October 12 last year.

On Thanksgiving Day, my homestaymother drove car taking my friend-Joe and me to the north of Canada. We stared at 9 o'clock in the morning. That day was sunny. On the way, we saw beautiful colours of maple leaves. Bright red, orange and yellow... Wow! It's fantastic!

Originally, we wanted to go to Algonquin Provincial Park- It's Canadian's national park, but it's too far. So we only went Muskoka to see maple leaves change colour...

At night, we were invited to my homestay mother's friend's house for dinner. He is a kind farmer. Before dinner, he allowed me to feed his animals.I fed donkey、goats and pigs for the first time. After that, we ate pumpkin soup、turkey with stuffing and yammy apple pie. Everybody drank a bottle of white wine which I bought.

It was a interesting experience! I really enjoy this holiday!
