As far as likeness for the city is concerned, it is hard to say, it depends on many aspects such as one`s opportunities for career one`s preference of lifestyle and ones personality as well. Generally I like here because I prefer something westernized, peaceful and calm.

I`m sorry to say that I am not a professional photographer, though it is a big job for me still you will think it is something like a work other than amusement to see through the whole pictures(up to 100 i have to say). If you think I am hard working on this please help add some celebrity for me by pressing the icy button at the left bottom. I will take it as an encouragement and appreciate it very much. Thank you again.

One important thing is that when you want to know the messages given by certain pictures please remain your cursor on picture for 2 seconds you can read it. Some of the pictures do have something like labels to read the information.

yes, it is not downtown, acturally here downtown is quite a small area with a short free C-TRAIN line(that`s one of the reasons some new comers choose to live in downtown first).Downtown is as follow picture which is not done by me. look the tower, it is something like Calgary`s token or landmark.

I know exactly what the friends planning to emmigrate to Canada want to know, not the beautiful sceneries, but the real circumstance, as we are going to reside not tour. just as i said good sceneries you can sight everywhere, what we expect is a plain sight with no particular selection for view. I have to say the pictures I gave above all were shot alost 2 months ago, now It has been turning green completely, so beautiful.

as far as the comparison between this 2 cities is concerned, to be frank I have never been in Edmonton, I`ve got no idea about it.

肯定行 咱也是东北的。

To my experience, it is good for the new comers I mean Chinese to manage a job needing no much thinking, whatever it is, labour or low level technician, what is important is that it allows you to have free talk with foreigners. It works very well for one to develop Ennglish level. Currently I have 2 at the same time, one is considered a decent one, but that disapoints me by relatively silent circumstance around you when working, `cause one has to be concentrated with no distraction at all. Another one though is an entry level worker I really have benefited a lot from it and so far been enjoying very much for language consideration. People around me say my English is good enough still I never give up a chance to learn. A long way to go, that is a life job and could never be overdone. To the point, to learn English when working is a better way than taking a so called English course, don`t feel frustrated when you are doing an unsatisfied job, at the beginning we need it as an on job English learning course, take it for granted and take every minute to learn, that is a positive attitude towards life.
