Dear officer,
We are writing to complain your visa sectioin about not starting to review independent immigration cases received in the year 2002 in a scheduled time as you promised to applicants.
We are applicants who applied for immigration in skilled worker category in begining of the year 2002. Last spring each of us received a request letter in which your section informed us that your section would start to review our cases in the summer of 2005. This letter also requested us to submit required documents before June12, 2005. We all thus submitted our documents in time as per the request.
We have been very patient and waiting for further notices since then. However, summer has gone and it is already in the October that none of us got any feedbacks from your visa section. As most applicants applied for in that period have been meeting in a website forum for a long time, we are well aware that anyone’s case status in your website haven’t changed yet and still show “14”, which means that until now your section have not reviewed any case received after year 2002. We all are upset that the promise and our hopes are broken. We have no choice but to write this letter to complain and truly wish the current situation in Beijing could be changed as soon as possible.
Compared with the case processing speed in Hong Kong, isn't it terribly slow here in Beijing? As far as we know, visa section in Hong Kong have finalized most of cases submitted in that period. On the contrary, most of us applied for being an immigrant in your beautiful, democratic country almost four years ago and we have been waiting for your decision hopefully, even though our cases have been survived first review and have not been refused yet. In this period years in and years out , our toddler began to have their seats in their classroom in the hope that one day their parents would take them to a beautiful remote place and even hairs of some applicants began to become grey in waiting your kind decision, at least the medical check requirement. As a result, we have lost many golden opportunity in terms of job and private life such as promotion in position, buying a larger house , even purchasing an expensive furniture. We have to ask you visa officers very seriously , “how many five years do you have in your lifetime?” We have already waited very patiently for about four years but we should remind you that there is no limitless patience in the world. never!
We fully understand due to huge numbers of cases, officers have been making an effort, which is much appreciated by us. Nevertheless, we truly hope that the visa section in Beijing carries out its promise and starts to review our cases. It is indeed everyone’s wish that the case would move forward and be finalized as early as possible.
We believe that we should have rights to be aware of the exact timetable of processing our cases. However, veryone who have sent an E-mail case status inquire received a reply “ we will review cases received in 2001-2002 in this year” which is the same with the reply we received just one year ago. This is extremely unacceptable and an irresponsible attitude towards applicants.
Please seriously consider our complaints which are voices from the bottom of each applicant’s broken heart. If this letter couldn’t bring any changes to our status, we will have the rights to take steps about further complaining.
Thank you for spending your time reading this letter.
Your sincerely
70 applicants in the begining of the year 2002.
