Try looking for something you like about Canada, tangible, like the salary, the environment, fewer people, to name a few, as long as it fits you.
Try not painting China and Canada into black and white: "Oh, China sucks! China is a shite! I will be fucked if I continue to stay in this country! Yeah, Canada Rocks! Even the poo-poo on Canada's street smells fresh and sweet...Blah blah blah". Believe me, if you cull some negative instances of China to justify your motive to immigrate to Canada, you will start bitching about Canada soon after you land here: "How come I can't find a family doctor? How come there are so many gang-on-gang shooting on the street...Blah Blah Blah. May be I should try the states." So you move to the states and a vicious circle has just started.
Like I said, try doing a quiz: what kind of person I am? What am I looking for? Is there anything in Canada that precisely fits my aspiration?
By the way, don't call me "前辈" coz it maked me feel as if I were a middle aged guy with a fat ass and a flabby belly while I'm actully one who has just landed in Calgary while I was in my mid 20s.
