I've got a room available in a 4 1/2 (2 bedroom apartment) in NDG for $293 a month without utilities (although utilities are relatively cheap and can be discussed). I'm the only tenant living there right now, and I live with a cat. I have a portable washer and dryer in the apartment. The apartment also has a balcony. It is not really furnished yet; I can provide a small mattress for you if necessary but not much else. The lease ends on December 31, but if you want to stay longer you can renew the lease with another roommate. I will most likely be moving at the end of the lease, but there is a possibility of me staying.
There are many buses going to metro stations and downtown close to the apartment. The closest metro stations are Vendome, Villa-Maria and Snowdon, all about 2.5 km away from the apartment and thus a short bus ride away. The apartment is also really close to Loyola campus.
I'm a 22 year old vegan, student and cyclist. I'm queer-friendly, vegan-friendly and international student friendly (hint hint). I go to school and am trying to learn Mandarin Chinese. I get along with just about everybody. If you'd like to know anything else, don't hesitate to ask!
