I believe more Chinese people outside mainland China will suffer and lose their jobs if U.S. ever fail, no matter whether you are doing business with China, as we can already see from the current crisis. Does that mean we should put the value of U.S. ahead of China? We are supposed to accept something bad that is doing more harm to other people just because its failure may put us out of business? That's called selfish.
You lose your job because of a failure of a country? Big deal
, tell those guys who did business with Iraq about it. Do they all cease to exist today? Just go find yourself another job, you are supposed to take care of yourself.
My point is if you want to make you life better you should try to make yourself more competitive in the market instead of trying to hang on to something that ultimately you have no control over and doing more harm than good. If we can't change the way the world works we can change ourselves to adapt. This is called evolution.
I have no delusion over the Chinese government in power and his system, not that I have no hope for China. Just as we already know that, for example, the decadent Qing Dynasty don't necessarily translate into hopeless future.
