士嘉堡直通皮尔森国际机场的“Eglinton跨城高速线” (Eglinton Crosstown Rapid Transit)。该线全长31公里，横贯Toronto东西，总耗资46亿元。
线路的总体规划是：从皮尔森国际机场启程，沿Eglinton大道一路往东，途经Eglinton西站（U型地铁线Eglinton W）、Eglinton地铁站(U型线Eglinton)、GO Transit，直到今天轻轨蓝线（Scarborough LRT）的始发点肯尼迪地铁站(Kennedy station)。
其后，再将线路向东延伸至士嘉堡的最东端位于Finch和Nelsion的Malvern。
这条环城轻轨线投资巨大，会直接带来就业人口和推动经济发展，地铁建成后，便可乘坐地铁直接去机场，
同时这条30公里线路连接城市东西，使上班族减少了很多路上时间。
在这条长达30公里的轻轨线路中，从Keele街到Leslie街这段约11公里的路线是在地下，目的主要是避免影响路面上繁忙的交通、商业活动和人们的生活，至于其它部分皆在地面以上。工程将于2010年开始，2016年开始运营。
