i guess the pictures are treated to have speical effects, esp. the colors.
could u put some everyday pictures of place to which people can have easy access? for we cannot compare the street view of toronto with our forbidden city or great wall.
i read an article saying that the sand is swallowing up a big part of MINGQIN, an oasis which makes part of the silk road. that's also the main reason of beijing's sand tempest. how could the situation be like this grave? that's triggered by the big reservoir project of Mao zedong in the middle of 1950s.
the environmental concerns of the three gorges will be a big headache for we chinese people....
