只是，在入关时申报所携带的资金(是不是包括现金和汇票之类的？)肯定超过银行
帐户上面2000刀嘛，这个不是有点矛盾吗?

I'm in Chinook.

The amount of the funding is variable and calculated by how many persons in one family, e.g. 1309/3persons, 14xx/4persons. Family net income, and other situations such as EI, students loan will also be considered.

If you meet the criteria, e.g. low income, without a car or the value of it is no more than $5,000, without a house or the value of it is no more than a reasonable price (perhaps $250,000), without more than $3,000 in your bank account, without a job or with a part-time job under 20 hours/week, then you can apply for a maximum 1-year free ESL program in Chinook, Bow valley, SAIT, MRT and receive funding (it's a gift, you don't have to repay it!!) from the government as well. The amount of funding is variable and based on how many people in your family.

EI is Employee Insureance, totally different from the funding.

Loan is clearly a debt to the government.

If you have any experience related to Gas, Oil, Pipe, you are welcome, popular and potential rich in Calgary.

I have no exact answer for this question. Sorry!!

Basically, if you couple's income exceeds $230/m, the funding will be automatically deducted by the gap. Therefore, if one of your families has full time job, no matter it is related to labor or profession or not, the chance to get funding is quite slim and limited.

不能!

大家所说的funding是指学费+生活费. 是一体的, 生活费是浮动的, 从0~****.

如果不能申请funding, 就是说不能申请学费加生活费.

Pratically, day-care service may cost you around $550~$700/month; ie, you have to pay the gap.

I know there is another kind of governmental allowance with respect to day care for low income family which will cover all of your day-care cost; however, I have no idea of the detail.

You can add credit to someone untill your credit reach a level high.

The studying time is 09:00am~03:00pm from Mon to Thur in Chinook right now.

I have no idea about the other college.

However, if you are prone to take some profeessional programs in SAIT, or MRC, you have better to take the program that school provides. Just an English program, don't think too much. After taking ESL, there is still a long way to go.
