I'm in US now with a B1/B2 visa. I take medical check at the end of July 2004. I borrowed my passport from Beijing Canada Embassy Since Sep. 2004 till now. My status is always 12. Is it because my passport not in Embassy? Should I hand in my passport at once to speed my case process? Besides I applied in Beijing Canada Embassy and got the File No. in Aug. 2000. The file No. Embassy give to me that time is diferrent from the FN. now when I received the medical check form. I think it's because I met the new law. But I was informed my case will be judged by old law. I hand in my IELTS test score on MAr. 2004. It's a long long period for me to waiting. Anyone can help me? Pls give me some suggestion. THX! I think you 'd better e-mail the Canadian Embassy to what the problems are. Your case is due to be granted, the best answer should have come from the officer, no one else. Good luck.
