Responsibilities
- Moderate to heavy physical labour on an assigned area of track
- <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: list .5in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">Involves pulling track spikes, applying rail anchors, shovelling rock, bending & lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: list .5in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">An emphasis on safety is critical for all employees.
- Employees must remain focused at all times and be willing to work in a team environment.
Work Environment

- Work is seasonal and employees can expect to be laid off
Qualifications
To qualify you must be willing to work shifts, overtime (including weekends if necessary): perform repetitive tasks; work outdoors in adverse weather conditions; relocate on a regular basis (often to remote and isolated areas); and be away from home for extended periods.
In addition, you must possess a safety-oriented work ethic supported by related experience within the labour industry. The ability to follow instructions and obey rules and regulations is essential. You must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
Minimum Education Requirement: Completion of Grade 10 (proof required)
