早上心境蓝天高远地没有一丝云彩地酣眠到自然醒,比吃什么都好,比去哪个健身房都管用。
跑步更是容易伤到关节的。健步比跑步好,当然花费也更奢侈--每天1个小时以上才有塑身效果。

去年应景,跑了个马拉松,够慢,4小时20多分钟才跑完。
不是哥我腿脚慢,实在是跑马拉松之前那180公里自行车太难骑。
哦,差点忘了说,骑那180公里之前还先游了3800米...

跑一天歇一天. 工作日一般30分钟左右.两到三英里. 周末有时间就跑多一点,花一个小时左右.

哈哈,“跑步伤腿”和“吃饭伤胃,喝水烫嘴”一个逻辑。
凡事都有“程度”,喝水也能喝死人,如果不掌握程度的话。

回到“跑步伤腿”,保护膝关节的不是好的跑鞋,更不是“不跑步”,而是科学的练习和强大的肌肉。
TIP,要练深蹲,不必太频繁,但不能缺少。经常跑步可以加强外侧肌肉,相对之下内侧肌肉显弱,不平衡,容易受伤。
里外侧达到平衡,可以充分保护关节避免受伤。

别怕腿粗,一周蹲一次,绝不会像自行车追逐赛那帮队员的腿那样。
另外据说深蹲对男性荷尔蒙好处多。

我以前也不喜欢的, 也是觉得枯燥.
比较热衷于打网球和壁球(喜欢穿着背心短裙举着拍子跑来跑去,享受晒太阳和在场上被围观的感受,哈哈,那时候自我感觉特别良好);但其实我球技很差,男生们和我打也就是放松而已。因为球场上的女孩子很少,所以从小比较多人陪我打球和吃雪糕。:wdb19:

两年前的某一天, 生活安定下来, 于是又迷惘了,就出去走走...
走在阳光灿烂的路上, 看着野兔,小鹿在田野间奔跑,鸟儿在身边吵来闹去的,忽然就有一种想放肆奔跑大喊大叫的冲动! 于是兴奋地飞跑起来,五分钟左右就累得喘不过气啦, 可我还想去更远的地方看一看!
看到身边的其他人,健步如飞,我就觉得自己身体太差了! 不行! 必须要改进! 然后就这样开始了.... :wdb6::wdb9::wdb19:
后来,开始就有喜欢跑步的同事怂恿我参加慈善跑, 现在越来越着迷了~ 正在用心练习,打算慢慢升级。每年参加一两次大型的跑步活动。

终极目标是想能够到美国参加那个著名的山地跑步赛,六天时间完成, 可以跟大队走也可以自己跑(自己跑一般要求三四天完成,属于高手队,一般女生不参加的,太累也太危险), 报名费三千多,据说是长跑者的终极梦想~ 沿途会跑过许多绝美的山峰, 晚上大家露营休息,直升机和汽车医护人员跟随大家确保安全防止迷路.

这个活动据说组织的很好,而且可以交到很多志同道合的朋友。全北美和欧洲的登山者长跑爱好者都会聚集在那里,一年一度。我看着他们的介绍,就感觉很浪漫!不过一天跑十几个钟头,就算走,也很辛苦啦。所以平时要慢慢练,等准备好了再去参加 --- 很有点苦练武功准备华山论剑的感觉,哈哈。

好啊,有想法就好。
目标看着远,也不用害怕,战术上可以藐视敌人。据跑过的人说,那种Ultra run不见得有马拉松难,因为马拉松是42公里不停下的,一般来说人体的极限跑35公里基本就到了,想不间断的继续跑下去绩需要一种意志品质的挑战。如果还背负着BQ的目标什么的,压力就更大。跑撞墙经常发生。

Ultra虽说总距离长,但可以自由安排休息时间,安排好休息和补给,一次跑个20-30,控制在有氧阀直以下,反倒不难。另外比赛总在风景秀丽的地方,与其说是比赛不如说是enjoy journey。只要别太在乎是金腰带还是银腰带,压力不会太大。

慢慢来,别着急,过程比结果重要。

要想皮肤年轻20年、30年,只消3个月疗程?是的,加拿大麦马士打大学(McMaster University)最新研究发现,运动可以防止皮肤老化,甚至恢复皮肤幼嫩。

没错,运动有护肤作用,不计算健身馆会员费,这种护肤疗法可说不费分文。麦马士打大学初步研究报告说,运动不仅防止皮肤老化,还有还嫩的功效。



麦马士打大学儿科及运动科学教授塔诺普斯基医生(Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky)说:「它指出我们应该运动,不止是保健、保护大脑、降低癌症风险,也能保持皮肤健康。」



塔诺普斯基眼里所见的皮肤,可能与你看到的不一样。他看到的皮肤年轻20、30年,是从显微镜看出来的。



他解释:「真皮会变薄,皮肤出现皱纹,看来松弛。然後,表皮外层角质层随着年龄变厚。」

运动的好处是防止真皮变薄、角质层变厚,在显微镜下的皮肤看来年轻几十年。



塔诺普斯基在研究运动对实验鼠的影响,发现这个现象。那些实验鼠经过基因改造,更快老化。他指出,相对於久坐不动的实验鼠,每周在转轮运动3次的基因鼠「整体有好处」。



塔诺普斯基深入测试他的理论,比对人类皮肤活组织,从臀部上方采取样本,太阳通常不会损害这个部位的皮肤。

他还查究,运动能否反转老化皮肤。他研究65岁及以上的老年人,查看老年人多做运动结果。他发现,3个月後,显微镜下的皮肤看来年轻20到30岁。运动量不必多,参与者踏身脚踏车,每周3次,每次30分钟即可。



塔诺普斯基指出,他还要研究蛋白质如何反转老化,也探讨更健康皮肤的具体好处。

Do it step by step. First week, run 800m each time and walk 800m, three to four times/ week. Second week, run 1000m each time and walk 1000m, three to four times. Third week, 1.5km. And then 2km, 3 km, 4km... Keep adding it. You will be good to go with 10k, 15k, 20k, half-marathon and even marathon!

感觉懒人练练瑜伽挺好的。
我参加了女子健身中心,跳桑巴,练瑜伽,以前困扰自己的颈肩痛都少多了,心情也轻松。

我发现去女子健身中心的很多都是大龄女子,身材那叫一个走样啊,估计是以前家庭重负压得,终于解脱可以轻松的为自己做点什么了。每次到这里锻炼,我就安慰自己,早早准备,我还来得及保持曼妙婀娜啊。

而如果去男女混合健身中心的,就能看到很多妙龄女子了,身材火辣,曼妙,还带妆健身,估计那里肌肉帅男多,女神们奔着交友的主题去的. :)

While the personal reasons underlying the decision might not be readily apparent, even to the runner, it's really not that difficult to communicate the essence of the challenge: to prove, to ourselves or others, that we have the fortitude to push through the limitations we once imagined, defy the odds and endure hardship.

I ran the Northburn100 a few months ago, a 100mile race in the mountains of New Zealand. It was tough. I crossed the finish line after 34hrs, physically fine but emotionally desolate. The RD calls it a "look of Anguish". I'd say Anguish is too energetic. Thinking back on Northburn, and other gruelling Ultras I've run, I've became increasingly aware that this post-event emotional roller coaster is just as much a part of running Ultras as are the training, camaraderie, palate fatigue and physical endurance. Even when we smash the goals we set for ourselves, the feeling can be bittersweet.

It's exhausting work exploring the depths of our darkest emotions. When they're freshest, thoughts smash around our skulls like possessed plant equipment. 比赛是傍晚五点开始的, 很多人,在人群中排队等了足足一个多小时才轮到起点线开跑~ 也就是说,我的组别其实是将近六点才起跑的。。。又冷又饿,呵呵,开跑后就开始出汗,不觉得冷了。沿路很棒的乐队在表演。到达终点线后,也是花了一个多小时才走出人群,半夜以后才回到酒店。

跑完后休息了一天, 周二去了 Boulder City 跟帅锅跳伞去了~ 玩的很开心~ 活着的感觉真好~ 希望以后自己能有更多精彩的体验~ 加油!

圣诞节生病了, 病了两个多星期才好, 呵呵.然后开始就特别忙, 忙着赶进度,做功课, 训练和准备比赛... 最令人兴奋的是: 爱城的朋友邀请我一起去参加一个八月一号的极限马拉松比赛: 加拿大死亡竞速(Canadian Death Race)!
我们的队名是 Death Race Divas, 五个女生一起跑五个leg, 我跑第一段, leg 1, (如果其他人不行的话, 我就跑去做后备代跑,呵呵,开玩笑, 大家都很厉害的不用我做后备). 这个比赛也很贵, 350+税就是367.50加元了,但是很有意义,也很兴奋.

加拿大死亡竞速赛(Canadian Death Race), 在美丽的落基山中进行, 地点是艾伯塔省的Grand Cache, 全程125公里,累计海拔17000英尺, 需要攀登三座高峰, 其中最高峰海拔是6986英尺. 比赛限制24小时内完成, 是世界著名的极限马拉松之一. 朋友告诉我说,届时会有直升飞机在上空盘旋,为每个参赛者拍照和录像, 每年的八月长周末, 世界各地的运动媒体和极限马拉松爱好者云集此地, 会是一场非常热闹的盛会.

STRETCHES FOR RUNNERS KNEE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

Busy race season is upon us, and as the snow melts away and the sun stays out longer it's easy to turn our training up, and fast. But changing up your pace and increasing your frequency too quickly can result in injuries. Injuries aren't always an easy fix, and after a winter of weakened muscles, athletes have to make sure they are not only stretching properly, but also strengthening the little muscles that keep us moving easily.

One of the top athletic injuries, especially in association to too much training too quickly is runners knee- a sharp pain felt on the lateral side of the knee. The tricky part however, your knee isn't always the focus of your problem; it is often your hips and IT band that have been over worked. This result is slouchy, improper form, and weak hip muscles that sometimes drop lower on one side or the other. Before you get discouraged at the beginning of the season, try these hip-strengthening exercises for 6 weeks, the proper amount of time it takes for new muscle to form. As your hips regain strength, your knees and IT band won't be taking on as much pressure from the pavement, and you'll be back on your way to pain free running.

Clam Shell
Lie on your side with your knees bent and pulled half way in, about a 45 degree angle. Keep heels together and lift your upper knee. Make sure to keep you pelvis tucked in. Feel your lower back, if you are tense, double check your pelvis. Rise 10 times slow, and repeat twice.

Standing Quadriceps Stretch
Standing upright, cross your right leg behind your left. Tuck your pelvis in so you are not arching your back and stretch your right arm up and over your head. Hold this for 60 seconds and repeat on the opposite side.

One Leg Squat
Make sure to stand in front of a mirror so you can help watch for proper alignment. Stand on your right leg with a micro bend in the knee and raise your left leg at a 90-degree angle and hold. Tuck your pelvis and bend the right knee keeping your body upright and aligned. Try to keep the right knee from turning in towards to middle. Repeat 10 times on each side.

Foam Roller
A foam roller has a variety of uses and any athlete will soon find a forever friendship with this stretching accessory. A tight IT band needs proper stretching but also massage to loosen the tight muscle. Lie on your side with the foam roller under the side of your hamstring. Cross your other leg over the leg balanced on the roller. Use this foot to move yourself back and forth along the foam roller. Repeat 20 times on each side.

Resistance Band
Attach a resistance band to a table leg or heavy chair and attach the other end to your left ankle. Stand up right, tuck your pelvis, and put your weight in your right leg. Kick your left leg across the front of your right leg. You'll feel this in areas of both your legs. Continue until the muscles start to approach exhaustion, and repeat on the other side.

One of the key tips to these exercises is tucking your pelvis. This helps to ensure you are not engaging your lower back muscles but the appropriate hip muscles. As you perform these stretches feel the muscles on either side of your lower spine. If they are engaged, this exercise should be done in smaller repetitions until the hip and gluteal muscles are stronger. Even if you aren't experiencing pain in your training, these stretches are great to maintain strength and flexibility in your hips, the key to keeping your IT band and knee in check and ready for race day!

Grizzly Ultra 50k medal :) 带伤完成了落基山Canmore主办的灰熊超马(Grizzly Ultra 50K)。这是我目前为止最辛苦也最长的比赛~左腿的Hamstring和ITBand在上周末的铁马一百加剧了,虽然休息了一周,还是没有完全恢复,算是半个瘸子,呵呵~把腿贴上运动绑带就出发了,挣扎了9小时完成,拿到了熊掌啤酒杯和奖牌,很开心!
