非名校的的确很不好找。我见过几个MBA最多做小店或仓库的经理,收入很少。听他们说有牛人找的工作很好,但都是本来就有很强专业背景的。

偶见过一些美国读的MBA来加后又再读电脑啥滴. UT, UBC, Western Ontario出来的MBA比较容易找工作.

主要看能力了.

This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Head of Research Marketing and Portfolio Solutions. The key function of the U.S. Equities Analyst is to provide equity research support for Dundee’s national system of Investment Advisors.



Responsibilities:

· Provide U.S. equity idea generation, research guidance and commentary to Dundee Investment Advisors (IA) and Financial Planners (FP).

· Create and maintain research-driven U.S. equity model portfolios

· Present investment ideas through branch meetings and conference calls.

· Prepare written reports for inclusion in a variety of publications.

· Participate in and provide content for National Research Call.

· Provide expert advice regarding portfolio construction and management.





Qualifications:

· Demonstrated knowledge and intellectual curiosity of capital markets.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

· Proficient with computer software applications such as spreadsheet, word processing skills and presentation programs.

· 5+ years capital markets experience.

· Chartered Financial Analyst designation or progression towards one.

· Other ‘nice-to-haves’ include CA and/or MBA.

Job Summary:



This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all of the performance measurement, attribution, monitoring and reporting activities of Goodman and Company Investment Counsel, Inc.





Responsibilities:

· Develop and evolve the role of the performance measurement, attribution, monitoring and reporting activities for the firm.

· Partner with Information Systems, Accounting and GIC to support the implementation process and roll-out of Eagle™ performance measurement tool.

· Oversee daily measurement, monitoring and reporting of performance and value added metrics using available internal systems and external service providers.

· Produce Performance reports that include analysis of returns, risk added value and portfolio characteristics for internally managed portfolios.

· Supplies return data and portfolio characteristics information to institutional sales for purposes of marketing to institutional clients.

· Prepare timely investment commentary and performance reporting for monthly/quarterly performance measurement reports on mutual funds, private wealth, SMA clients. (Reports also for submission to quarterly Board package).

· Collect and process investments/accounting data. Liaise with Portfolio Managers and Accounting to resolve any discrepancies in returns. Investigate, correct and confirm data

· Escalates, investigates and documents discrepancies such as unexplained market value changes, corporate actions problems or incorrect feeds.

· Develop tests to ensure accuracy and completeness of information being used to calculate performance and benchmarks.

· Asses process and system capabilities and provide business cases to support enhancements.

· Assist in the preparation of presentation materials when required





Skills Requirements:

· Strong analytical abilities and financial skills; knowledge of accounting principles advantageous.

· Excellent interpersonal relationship skills; comfortable working at all levels in the organization

· Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.

· Detail oriented with strong time management skills

· Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; prior knowledge of Eagle™ software system desirable





Experience:

· Minimum 7 years experience in investment management industry or financial services
· 5 years experience with relevant market performance measurement experience



Education:

· Undergraduate or advanced degree – B.A., MBA

· Professional designation – CFA, CA, other an asset (or actively pursuing)

能被胡耀邦看上的人,一般都不是吃素的。不论是能力还是水平至少在精英的层面上的。
